Heralding Autumn

As I made my way into Central Park this afternoon, my glance settled upon a fallen leaf filling up with rainwater; a delicious portent of autumnal hues to come.

In sharp contrast, the last shout of summer from some glorious irises:

    1. Thanks John, had a quick peek at your site, LOVE the yellow warbler on the clematis, such a cutie. Great pic of the Tricyrtis too, I got a nice shot of the Tricyrtis Sinome at the High Line park here in NY the other day, if you’re interested, have a peek here, it’s about halfway down the page.
